The fishing charters, fishing guides, and recreational anglers with the dedication and drive to stay on the schools of striped bass. Are catching them. Everyday! Plain and simple. Stripers are seldom alone. Mayb never alone. I can’t seem to think of a time I found a single striper isolated by it’s self, right off hand. So I hate to say never. Im sure you get the point. Where you find one, you find another, and another, and… It can go on and on at times. Right now on the Sacramento River the problem seams to be staying in front of these linesides. They are backing down the Sacramento River with spawning on their mind. Mixed reports come in daily from private anglers fishing between Woodson Bridge in Corning, Ca and the State Park boat launch in Colusa, Ca. With only a few trophy striped bass being caught this week. Focus has turned to the in river White Sturgeon which have taken up residency in this region of the Sacramento River surrounding Colusa, Ca. But won’t really wind up until the first of April, 2020!
